Pure Grip Compound
PureGrip Compound is made from activated silica compound and is a good example of how Continental continuously integrates customer feedback into research and development. This mixing technology fits in seamlessly with the revolutionary proven BlackChili Compound. The name PureGrip says it all. This mixture is characterized by exceptionally good grip and durability. We use PureGrip in our performance products in the road bike and mountain bike segments.

Shield Wall System
The ShieldWall system combines the optimal combination of high puncture protection and the best smooth running with low weight. This is made possible by an additional, all-round puncture protection layer, which consists of a finely woven cross fabric. This gives the tire high resistance to punctures and injuries. Despite the additional layer, the tire has very good damping properties and is highly flexible, allowing it to adapt perfectly to the ground. Another feature of the ShieldWall system of our performance products is tubeless ready suitability. The revolutionary Tubeless Ready foot allows easy and uncomplicated mounting of the tire. For optimal results when sealing and in use, we recommend using the new Continental RevoSealant sealant.

E-bike ready
For e-bike tires, Continental draws on more than 100 years of experience with moped and motorcycle tires. All city/trekking tires reach at least the standard up to 25 km/h. The tires marked with E50 are also approved for S-Pedelecs. With their high-quality construction, they have high puncture protection, low rolling resistance and protection against premature wear due to the additional driving force.

Tubeless ready
The Continental carcass construction is particularly resistant and insensitive to damage and the penetration of foreign bodies. The result: Your tires can be used in a variety of ways, are lightweight and have an attractive design. In addition, the tires with this technology can also be used tubeless or in combination with a tube.
