The Eagle AXS ™ is at the heart of the entire AXS ™ system, and much more than just a battery-powered engine-upgraded mechanical rear derailleur. It has a 10 mm shorter cage, sits further forward and further inward than the mechanical Eagle ™, giving it more ground clearance and more cartridge wrap. SRAM's examinations in the test lab and the experience gained in the race prove it: Constant, delay-free gear shifts with just one click, even under the chain hoist of a World Cup winner. Waterproof and dustproof to the IP69K standard so you're ready for whatever the race day brings.

CAGE LOCK technology

Thanks to the CAGE LOCK technology in the rear derailleur, the removal and installation of the rear wheel and the chain assembly are faster and easier than ever. Simply push the cage forward (to release the chain tension) and lock.

ROLLER BEARING CLUTCH derailleurs offer maximum propulsion stability - even on grueling and highly demanding terrain. The ROLLER BEARING CLUTCH technology puts an end to wobbly rear derailleurs and beating chains - without sacrificing precision.

X-HORIZON

The parallelogram design of the X-HORIZON rear derailleur limits the movement along the horizontal axis, eliminating the so-called "ghost-shifting" and simultaneously reducing the shifting force. For faster and more accurate gear changes, the large offset of the upper pulley ensures constant chain spacing in each gear.
