The drive, celebrated daily by the core scene, is now available as a transmission. The uncompromising, price-conscious approach remains, but has been modernized for a new generation of bikes.

The GX Eagle Transmission rear derailleur is just as crisp and precise as the other rear derailleurs in the Transmission family, but features removable skid plates for better protection and ease of maintenance. Shifting under load is made possible with the GX cassette through a combination of X-Sync technology and cassette mapping, which enables smooth shifting even with the harshest power transmission.

The GX Eagle Transmission DUB crankset stands out from the rest and offers discerning riders a fine balance of form and function. With this crankset, pure performance meets an optimal price-performance ratio. The crankset's unique shape is forged from aluminum for durability without unnecessary weight. The optional removable composite bashguards allow riders to deal with the scuffs and scrapes that occur off-road.

The GX Eagle Transmission (T-Type) chain is the strongest SRAM has ever made. It was specially developed to optimize the Eagle transmission and features a unique flat top. It was specifically designed to withstand the added torque loads of E-MTBs, thanks to its massive chain rivets that give it incredible strength.
