CHISEL FRAMESET

The Chisel frameset is the lightest and fastest full suspension cross country bike ever made. It's 18.4% lighter than the nearest competition and delivers noticeably fierce performance. Thanks to the Epic 8's advanced kinematics and geometry combined with the innovative D'Aluisio Smartweld technology, riders can get the most out of themselves on speed metal between the tape or just have a wicked good time on their home trails.

• GROOVE METAL: Specialized have given the Chisel flexible stays for maximum suspension performance. This and the D'Aluisio Smartweld design with its weight savings reduce the maintenance effort of the rear triangle enormously. Extensive field and laboratory tests have shown that the Chisel has achieved the impossible. While flex stays were previously reserved for carbon bikes, the Chisel with its specially shaped aluminum can easily keep up in terms of efficiency, control and low weight
