While the Blur doesn't guarantee victory, it is the lightest full-suspension carbon XC bike Santa Cruz has ever built. The frame is 289g lighter than its predecessor (the complete bike weighs only 10kg). And that can make all the difference, whether you're sprinting for first place... or just reaching the finish line of your personal challenge.

• Super light carbon frame: The suspension system on the Blur is lighter than most athletes' pre-race meal - saving 289g compared to its predecessor
• Growing chainstays: The Blur's chainstay lengths grow with frame size. So every rider gets the same balanced geometry
• Chain guide on board: Before you lose the chain, you shake off your pursuers
• Two water bottles: Up to three water bottles provide you with enough juice (or electrolytes) to keep you strong
• No special parts needed: There are no fiddly solutions and special parts that could get you stranded in the paddock at Cape Epic or the Transalp
• XC or TR: The TR models have more suspension travel (115mm rear, 120mm front), slightly more robust tires (Maxxis Reckon), a full telescopic post, no lockout lever on the handlebars and larger brake discs (180mm).
