The ultimate climbing machine

The Orca isn't just light. The new Orca is pure climbing technology. With this racing bike you will fly up the mountains like never before. There's nothing like the feel of a light and efficient road bike. Rapid acceleration, damping and agile handling are based on a frame that is not only particularly light, but also particularly stiff in the crucial areas.

Conquer the mountains

In order to make the Orca as light as possible, many small screws had to be turned. Attention was paid to every detail and the highest quality materials were used across all models. The project is viewed as a total work of art. From the very beginning, we worked with the developers of the add-on parts and wheels to optimize stiffness and weight.

Stiff where a racing bike needs to be stiff

There's no point in having the lightest road bike if it isn't stiff and efficient. That's why a stiffness target was set right from the start when developing the Orca. So that even the strongest mountain riders can get their power onto the road efficiently. With this goal in mind, the Orca was designed to be as light as possible.

The feeling of lightness

The most efficient aero road bikes will never be really light. Conversely, particularly light models will never achieve top aerodynamic values. If you want to create a racing bike that can do a lot of things, you often end up with a bike that doesn't really do anything well. When the mountain becomes so steep that your speed drops below 15 km/h, gravity becomes more important than aerodynamics. How steep the mountain has to be varies from cyclist to cyclist. But when it happens, the lightweight racing bike has a clear advantage.

No compromise

The cleverly designed frame proves that a stiff racing bike can be quite comfortable. Slimmer, rounder areas of the frame improve damping and help save energy for long tours. And with a tire clearance of 32 millimeters, the new Orca offers more grip and comfort.

Performance design

The Orca is based on Orbea's understanding of performance and design. It represents the belief that a racing bike should look great and ride even better. The minimalist design with timeless lines gives the Orca its very own style. And the most modern technology is hidden under the beautiful cover.
