A mid-weight rain jacket designed for long-distance training and touring. Featuring a high-stretch 2L membrane, it can be worn over jerseys and jackets and offers protection in wet weather all year round.
Lightning, the main textile of the WASSERSCHNAUZE, forms a permanently waterproof barrier that insulates better than the Schloss Tex 3L textile of our RS Rain Jacket Targa. The natural elasticity allows it to be worn over equipment in all seasons, whether over light summer jerseys or over heavy winter jackets. Welded and glued seams and a glove-friendly zipper with cover strip ensure complete waterproofness. The NACA Tec construction under the arms protects against spray and precipitation and increases breathability. The reflective band on the back ensures that you are clearly visible even in cloudy skies and poor lighting conditions. The inside chest pocket is large enough to store gloves when the weather requires additional protection for the hands.

Stow the jacket in a jersey or frame pocket for protection on long-distance rides or tours in changeable spring or fall weather, or wear it over a thermal layer or jacket in the depths of winter for additional protection.

Lightning is a new 130gsm 2L breathable textile that maximizes protection from moisture, stabilizes the microclimate through light thermoregulation, and offers a stretchy fit suitable for layering. The durable water repellent properties eliminate the need for a DWR finish. The soft circular knit lining provides lightweight insulation that hugs the skin or layers gently. The 2L construction prevents any potential increase in weight due to water absorption of the outer fabric. Type.OF11 provides breathability under the arms with a DWR finish.

Thanks to the high elasticity of the textile, the sleek regular fit can be worn over any jersey or jacket. Glued and welded seams, with a completely water-repellent barrier.
