A brand new pair of bib shorts for racing and high intensity training in cold, wet weather and demanding transitional conditions. The EQUIPE R is made from our warmest Spring Fall textile yet, with a dense weave to protect against wind and spray or light precipitation.

The new Spring Fall Racing Series bib shorts are made from the same insulating material as our new winter arm and leg warmers, making them even warmer than the previous Racing Series model. While the EQUIPE R is warmer on the legs and hips, unlike the previous model, it does not have a double-layer construction in the crotch. This ensures even heat regulation instead of lighter insulation on the legs and an overly insulated core. The new textile also has an environmentally friendly, water-repellent finish so that spray and light precipitation does not penetrate but rolls off. This bib short is the first to use the new EQUIPE R S11 insert, which provides better support for the body in aggressive riding positions. It features our in-house free-floating goldenGate 2.0 construction.

For demanding conditions in spring or autumn, combine the shorts with the EQUIPE R Spring Fall jersey and add EQUIPE RS rain shells and arm and leg warmers depending on the weather.

FEATURED FABRICS

The RX Extreme textile is our most durable insulating material in the RX family. It is a brushed insulating material with high breathability and a water-repellent finish, suitable for racing in light drizzle, wind and cool temperatures.

Our AEPD 11 racingFit is an aerodynamic second-skin fit developed based on feedback from the WorldTour that provides all-round compression and stability to the body. The raw-edge waistband prevents pressure from building up in aggressive riding positions.

Highlights

PILtec Plug-In: The leg opening is provided with a light, ultra-breathable textile band. The micro-dot silicone treatment, invisible from the outside, stabilizes the seat and ensures support even when wet.
Acqua Shield Tec: An environmentally friendly, water-repellent finish that allows water to bead up from the textile surface and maintains a dry microclimate underneath.
X-Frame: A-shaped straps stabilize the shorts at the lower back and fix the seat pad and main panel during high-intensity rides. Fixation at the shoulders with our lightest straps.
Reflective Detail: A reflective strip on the lower back captures light and increases visibility in low light conditions.
EQUIPE R S11
Shock-Absorb Damping System Mono 9: 9mm compressive foam layers for racing comfort. The thermoformed shape prevents edges and irritation.
3D Waffle: A patented, perforated three-layer foam that increases breathability and avoids unnecessary weight.
goldenGate 2.0: A free-floating construction that moves with the body instead of against it. New recesses on the side wings reduce friction when pedaling.
